The polytechnic or Advanced Diploma Program at IPRC Karongi has started in 2012 to help students acquire skills enabling them to offer services at high scale after getting awarded with Advanced Diploma in Technics.
This will also improve technical services delivered in the country as only one University(KIST) would provide technicians at the labor market and with limited domains if these polytechnics were not established.
