African Airlines Association (AFRAA) to hold its 49th Annual General Assembly (AGA) in Kigali.

Over 500 high profile delegates from the aviation industry expected to meet in Kigali in the 49th Annual General Assembly (AGA) and Summit of the African Airlines Association (AFRAA).

Kigali, 08 November 2017:  The Government of Rwanda will host the 49th Annual General Assembly (AGA) of African Airlines Association (AFRAA) and its Summit from 12 – 14 November 2017 at the Kigali Convention Centre.

 

The AGA and Summit of the AFRAA is a biggest air transport event in Africa that brings together airline Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) and other high profile executives and decision-makers in the aviation industry in Africa. The AGA will discuss issues on the development of air transport in Africa in general and development opportunities for African airlines in particular. Air transport in Africa is an economic bridge – linking people, goods and capital to markets and industries and integrating the vast continent. The Assembly and Summit is expected to attract over 500 high profile delegates from the aviation industry in Africa, Europe, Middle East, Asia and North America.

 

Convened under the theme “Rethinking strategies for airline profitability in Africa”,  the 49th AGA will deliberate aviation typical issues such as liberalization of African skies, cooperation, market leadership, cost-effective operations, adoption and application of information communication technology among others.

 

In addition to statutory Assembly matters to be discussed, there will be exhibition of products, solutions and latest technologies in aviation by reputable service providers from across the world.

Further, the AGA will also avail quality time and opportunity for networking and business meetings among African airlines, industry partners and service providers.
