The European times launches the economic investment report on Rwanda

Kigali 18th March,2015-The European Times Economic Investment Report on Rwanda was launched by the Minister of Infrastructure, Honourable James Musoni as the guest of honour in the presence of Honourable François Kanimba , the Minister of Trade and Industry, H.E Michael Ryan, the EU Ambassador to Rwanda, government officials, Ambassadors, private sector among others.

The European Times is an independent media agency that specializes in in-depth promotional magazines on different countries and regions worldwide. In 2014, European Times’ experts worked closely with Rwanda’s public and private sector to publish the special edition of The European Times dedicated to Rwanda.

The economic investment report is dedicated to strengthening Rwanda’s key position and international exposure, which is essential for the country that was recently ranked the most competitive nation in East Africa and third in Africa in the World Economic Forum’s Global Competitiveness Report. The report highlights Rwanda’s most dynamic recent developments and investment opportunities and includes interviews with many high government officials, as well as international organizations representatives, and interviews with the country’s most successful industry leaders in private sector.

James Musoni, Minister of Infrastructure, pointed out in his interview that “There are tremendous opportunities for investors in many areas in Rwanda, whether through direct investment or public-private partnerships, in all infrastructure sectors such as energy, transport, housing and urban planning, water and sanitation.”

“Rwanda has transformed itself to establish very strong and efficient institutions headed by men and women who are hard-working, resilient and courageous, and the Rwandan Embassy in Brussels is ready to assist European investors”, Robert Masozera, Rwanda’s Ambassador to the EU in Brussels, said in his interview for The European Times. 

François Kanimba, the Minister of Trade and Industry, pointed out that “The Ministry is enhancing the public partnership to grow industrial production and welcomes investment that will add value to local products and bring in new know-how and technologies.”
