MININFRA celebrates International Labour Day 2016

Kigali, May 1, 2016, The Ministry of Infrastructure (MININFRA) joined the rest of the World to celebrate the Labour Day. “As employers we strongly support productivity, reaching notable achievements in infrastructure sector aiming to have working environment that enable growth and promote young entrepreneurs. “argued the Minister of State in charge of Transport, Hon. Dr. Alexis NZAHABWANIMANA at MININFRA Labour Day function held at Lemigo Hotel.


The Labour Day celebrations mark an opportunity for MININFRA Staff and Management to comply with labor laws with a particular emphasis on the occupational health and safety policies in the respective Ministry business development.


In his remarks the Minister of State in charge of Transport Dr Alexis NZAHABWANIMANA applauded the Ministry staff in different departments for performance appraisal towards better coordination, monitoring and evaluation, networking with the aim of implementing Ministry projects in a safety and healthy manner. This will play a vital role not only for the benefits of employees, but also the Ministry and the Country at large.


While addressing the employees, Mr. Eric BUGINGO SABITI, Corporate Services Division Manager and the representative to the Permanent Secretary, called upon working in good cohesion for achieving more by joining hands to promote the image of the Ministry and the Country respectively by sharing practical experiences as way of excellent performance.
