Ministry of Infrastructure has relocated its premises to the new Administrative Office Complex

The Administrative Office Complex was officially inaugurated on 22 April 2019 to host the Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Infrastructure, Ministry of Justice and the Rwanda Law Reform Commission.

The Ministry of Infrastructure has relocated its offices to the new Administrative Office Complex (AOC) located at Kimihurura between the premises of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the current Prime Minister’s Office after over 40 years during which the Ministry occupied its historical office building in Kacyiru.

The Administrative Office Complex constructed under the support of Chinese Government was officially handed over to the Government of Rwanda on 22 April 2019, during a ceremony which was graced by Right Honorable Prime Minister of Rwanda, Dr. Ngirente Edouard and His Excellency Zheng, the Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.

The 15,700m2 gross floor area building with seven storeys holding two wings of 5 storeys each will house the Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Infrastructure, Ministry of Justice and the Rwanda Law Reform Commission.

The Ministry of Infrastructure occupies four top floors of the right-hand wing of the building and has since 19 August 2019 been working from this building.
