AGPF structure

The Anti Genocide   Parliamentary Forum   Rwanda has got an Administrative Organs which facilitate the day to day functioning of the Forum.  These Organs are as follows:

1.       General Assembly,

2.      Executive Committee;

3.      Bureau of the Forum;

4.      Committees;

5.      Audit Committee

General Assembly;

The General Assembly is composed of all members of both lower and upper Chambers and it is regarded as the highest organ of the Forum. The meeting of the General Assembly is chaired by the Chairperson of the Forum and assisted by the Deputy Chairperson and the Secretary General.  

  Executive Committee;

The Executive Committee is composed of the following organs: Bureau of the Forum, Bureaus of the Committees, and in total they are composed of nine members.

Bureau of the Forum.

The Bureau of the Forum is composed of the Chairperson of the Forum, Visi Chairperson and the General Secretary.

Committees:

Those Committees are the following: 

- Committee on Collection and Analysis of Information on Acts likely to degenerate into Genocide, and on Revisionism and Denial of the Genocide against the Tutsi;

- Committee on Education of the Public about Acts Constituting the Crime of Genocide, revisionism and denial of the Genocide against the Tutsi; and

 -Committee on Institutional Cooperation and Partnership.

However, each Committee has got a leadership made up of a Chairperson and Visi Chairperson

  Audit Committee:

Audit Committee is made up of   three (3) Auditors elected for a two and half (2,5) years renewable.  The Audit Committee is answerable to the General Assembly. It presents a report of activities once every six (6) months and any other time if deemed necessary.
