Removal of existing cobble stones that was replaced with alshalt pavement on Rwinyana- Nyarugunga Road
This project was funded by KICUKIRO District with the contract awarded to “Entreprise de Construction Mubiligi Paul (EMP Ltd)” and the supervision of works to “ATLANTIS CONSULT” for the amount of 243,335,410 Frw and 14,876,850 Frw, respectively.
The execution of works ended in December 2014 and provisional handover was done on 12/01/2015 while the final handover was done on 29/01/2016 after one year of liability period.
A savings of 48,576,850 Frw was made for this project, 19% of the total amount of the total budget. Almost this amount saved was reallocated on items with quantities exceeding 100% of the contractual quantities and inevitable complementary works, with a net balance of 2,589,369Frw.
